Who is the rental for?

Our road test car rental is ideal for drivers who are confident and test-ready but don't have a suitable vehicle for their exam — for example, students whose family car isn't available, international licence holders, or anyone whose own vehicle doesn't meet DriveTest requirements. You get a clean, insured, dual-control instructor vehicle that's fully road-test compliant.

Requirements & what to bring

• A valid G1 (for a G2 test) or G2 (for a G test) licence.
• Your booked DriveTest appointment confirmation.
• Arrive at least 15 minutes early to meet your instructor at the DriveTest centre.

This option does not include a pre-test warm-up lesson. If you'd like practice time before your exam, our Basic Package adds in-car practice plus the rental in one booking.

Taking your test in a familiar, well-maintained car removes one of the biggest variables on exam day. Our vehicles are regularly serviced, fully insured for road tests, and equipped with dual controls. Available at both the Ottawa and Peterborough DriveTest centres.
