How the BDE Course Works, Step by Step
Once you enrol, we email your enrolment key within 24 hours so you can start the online theory immediately. You complete the 20 hours of e-learning at your own pace, alongside the 10 hours of HomeLink assignments. In parallel, we schedule your 10 hours of one-on-one in-car lessons around your availability in Ottawa or Peterborough. When you finish, your completion is registered directly in the MTO system and stays on your driver's record permanently.

Can I start the theory before my in-car lessons?
Yes. Most students begin the online theory right away and book in-car lessons as they progress.
